The Area & The Climbing
El Chorro consists of a huge variety of superb crags boasting an abundance of excellent sport climbing routes covering a vast grade range making it the perfect location for any level of climber.
Complementing the climbing is the region itself with the inland mountains dotted with classic Andalusian villages that cling to the sides or perch on the summits of the hills that rise up from the centre of the range.
The small towns and villages themselves are excellent places to soak up some of the area’s relaxed culture and eat at the seemingly limitless number of Tapas bars.
El Chorro’s reputation for top notch sport climbing, stunning countryside and its near perfect off season climbing weather make it an ideal destination for a first-time winter sun seeker or experienced visitor looking for a new challenge. Everyone from beginners up to the experienced climber can bask in the undoubted charm of this beautiful part of the world.
Accommodation
Throughout the trip you will stay in the group's own Private Villa with Private Pool. This stunning villa is situated high on the hill and boasts fantastic panoramic views of the countryside and surrounding mountains.
With its large bedrooms most of which are en-suite, comfortable living room with log fire and UK TV, big patio with BBQ area and of course the beautiful swimming pool the group really will be staying in luxury.
The accommodation will be 2 people per room or sometimes 3 in the largest room. All rooms are divided into male & female rooms. Unfortunately there is no Single occupancy available for this trip.

Dining
The trip is fully catered by the group's own travelling Chef so no need to worry about cooking after a long day at the crag. Breakfast will be laid on each morning of your trip to ensure your get a good start to the day.

Most days we will return to the Villa for lunch where Austin will have his superb lunch spread awaiting us.
On days where we may be a little further away from the villa it is necessary to bring a pack lunch along with us. In this case lunch provisions will be laid out after breakfast. Each evening you will return to a good hearty dinner.
All meals are included in your package however on the middle day of our trip we give the Chef a day off so lunch and dinner will not be included. We will however bring to some excellent local restaurants and Tapas Bars where you can indulge in some of the beautiful local cuisine.

Evening Dinner at the VillaDay 4Caminito Del Rey / Climbing / Rest Day - Ardales Lakes
Day 4 has a few options for you. The first and most popular is the opportunity to experience the Caminito Del Rey, ‘The Kings Little Pathway’. This will cost you €10 and will take approx. 2hours and we highly recommend it.
We will of course arrange your tickets and drop you off and pick you up. We usually recommend a rest day along with this as it gives the bodies sometime to recharge. We can visit the stunning Ardales Lakes where you can swim or drink in the view with a cold drink high up in the Mirador restaurant looking over the lakes. The most popular option for Day 4 is Caminito in the morning and the lakes in the afternoon however if the group decide they would like to squeeze in more climbing then that is what we will do!
Lunch & Dinner on Day 4 is not included however we will recommend many places we can bring you to experience the wonderful local cuisine at incredibly reasonable prices.

Excellent company!
Went with Go Beyond Adventure to their rock climbing holiday in El Chorro, had a fantastic time, very well organised and a fantastic atmosphere to the entire trip. Also used them for the Bubble soccer and their one-day climbing lessons, again, everything was top notch and a really good set-up!

Skiing and Rock climbing holidays
Its almost too easy at this point, if I want a great adventure holiday I just give Dane a shout and let him do all the work! Just got back from my 4th trip with Giddy Gally Adventures, another awesome week climbing in the sunny south of Spain after also going on the skiing trip to Sere Chevallier a few months ago. Both trips were exactly what I needed, good sized groups that are well organised, allowing me to have fun and meet people without worrying about all the small details. While everything is well organised the mood of the trips tends to be very informal, its definitely not a case of your tour guide clocking off once he gets you back to the hotel. The guys will go for a drink with the group, join in with the skiing, give you a lift if you get stranded somewhere, introduce you to all the locals, grab things from the shop if they are passing and dozens of other little touches that make these trips less like a business transaction and more like going for a holiday with a group of mates. Speaking of business, considering what is included the prices for these trips are crazy good value. You get collected from the airport, brought everywhere all week, stay in an amazing chalet or villa, all tickets and passes are organised, all gear is provided, all food for the entire week is home cooked and served up, any problems are dealt with personally and at the end of the week you get dropped right back to the airport again. If I was to do a low cost week, sorting all my own travel, staying in some crappy hostel and eating noodles all week I still don't think I'd do it much cheaper than what I paid for this! Doesn't make any sense not to go with them really. Huge thanks to Dane, Lloyd and Austin for another great trip, keep up the good work!

Rock Climbing in El Chorro
What an amazing experience. Got to go rock climbing in sunny Spain and walk the kings pathway (ticked off the bucket list). Dane and the rest of the group made you feel welcome and the banter was mighty. The food was unreal too. Easily one of the best weeks of my life. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Rocking climbing in El Chorro with Giddy Gally Adventures was just awesome
Spent a week in El Chorro Rock climbing with Go Beyond Adventure last November. It exceeded my expectations in all ways. Went on my own ,came back with lifelong friends and climbing buddies .Very well organised, great craic, yummy food and the climbing was superb. As a beginner I learnt loads and progressed nicely thanks to Dane's relaxed and fun teaching style combined with a great group that supported and encouraged each other. Would highly recommend this trip. Thanks Go Beyond Adventure, looking forward to joining you again soon.

El Churro Climbing trip to beat January Blues
What a fantastic week! Dane and Lloyd were our qualified, hospitable, friendly, knowledgeable instructors for the week while Stan cooked delicious meals for us fresh everyday. We had just the right about of climbing, relaxation and exploration time. Such scenic part of the world. I was a little nervous before i came on the trip because i had never climbed before but the instructors worked effectively with all levels and were always supportive and encouraging. My confidence grew enormously as the week went on. Can't wait to go again :)

Rock climbing in Spain
I can't recommend Go Beyond Adventure highly enough. After a half day rock climbing in Dalky, Dublin, I signed up for a week-long climbing trip with them to El Chorro in Spain. The instructors, Dane and Lloyd, were extremely professional with the added bonus of being patient, funny, kind and and generous with their climbing knowledge. We had all levels on the trip - from complete newbies to fairly experienced climbers yet everyone was challenged. The trip to Spain went seamlessly - a great house, great food served to us by our very own cheerful chef, great landscapes and of course great climbs. The instructors are very knowledgable about the area and clearly well-liked by the locals and we got to experience the real rural Spain rather than a tourist spot. All in all a perfectly organised, stress-free, climbing holiday with LOADS of laughs.
